Impulse Internet Services Announces Webmail With Integrated Spam Control
Webmail Allows Convenience of "Anywhere Access" to Email and Extends Functionality of Spam Assassin
Santa Barbara, CA, May 19th, 2003 - Impulse Internet Services announced
today the availability of Webmail, a web browser based email client that
allows Impulse customers to log in and check email from
any computer with an Internet connection and a standard web browser such
as MS Internet Explorer. Webmail integrates the functionality of Spam
Assassin, allowing Impulse customers to identify and filter or delete
email before it ever reaches their computer. Impulse customers can now log on to
http://webmail.impulse.net to
read and manage their email, store address book information, and even use
the calendar function to track appointments. The integrated Spam
Assassin tool allows Impulse customers to set a junk mail filter
according to their preferred sensitivity and delete it automatically, or
divert it to a separate mailbox where it can be reviewed at leisure, or
simply let expire after three weeks. Spam Assassin can be set up and
configured in Webmail to affect mail retrieved in email clients such as
Outlook Express or Eudora as well. Impulse Internet Services provides dial-up and broadband Internet access,
email, web hosting and server co-location services to residences and
businesses on the Central Coast of California. Impulse Internet Services
