Leading Regional Internet Service Providers Create Largest Managed Internet Services and Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) Company on Central Coast
Santa Barbara, CA, April 3, 2006 - Impulse Internet Services ("IIS") and NetLojix Communications, Inc. ("NetLojix") announced today the completion of a transaction merging NetLojix's Internet and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) Services subsidiary (including Silicon Beach and WestNet) and IIS into a new entity, Impulse Internet Services, LLC ("Impulse"). The new Impulse provides Internet access, VoIP, advanced hosting, co-location, virtual private networks (VPNs) and secure multi-site managed private networks. "Since we started our respective businesses more than ten years ago, both of our organizations have worked diligently to maintain an exceptional focus on service quality," said Tony Papa, CEO and co-founder of NetLojix. Tony Papa will serve as CEO of Impulse. It will continue to operate each organization's data centers, providing additional capacity and an increased level of redundancy.
