To start Netscape Mail click the envelope at the bottom of the screen or click Window | Netscape Mail

	Click cancel if you are not connected

	Click the To: Mail button to create a new email message

	Send a test message to yourself

	If you are not connected select Deferred Delivery

	Click the Outbox. Your message is ready to be sent.

	If you are not connected you must exit Netscape Mail and Netscape Navigator and restart it for Netscape to call the dialer. Restart Netscape and click yes at the Connect To screen.

	Click Get Mail to log on and send your message

	Enter your password and click OK
