Configuring Dial Up Networking for Windows NT 4.0 |

| After installing Remote Access Server
(RAS) you are ready to create a connection.
Double-click My Computer, then the Dial-Up Networking icon. If you are creating a connection for the first time you will see this screen: |

| Select OK and the "New Phonebook Entry" wizard will start.
Name your new connection "Impulse" and click Next. |
|
|
| Select "I am calling the Internet" and click Next | |
|
| Enter the local number for your area and click Next. Note that the number in the picture is just an example. |

| That's it! | |

| Click the More button/edit entry and modem properties... | |

| Click the Server tab. | |

| Make sure only TCP/IP is selected and click the TCP/IP settings button. | |
|
| Server assigned IP address and DNS will be selected by default. | |

| Click the Security tab and select "Accept any authentication including clear text"
Click OK. |

| Click More/Create shortcut to entry.
Double click this icon on your desktop or click the Dial button. |

| Log on to Impulse
(note: don't check "save password" until you log in successfully) Do not include a domain |

To disconnect, right-click the telephone icon in the system
tray next to the clock.
