Setting up Hotmail to check your Impulse POP account

First and foremost, you must login at http://www.hotmail.com. In the event that you don't have a hotmail account, click the Sign up now! link.

Once logged in, click on the options link located as shown.

Located inside options is the POP mail link. Click it.

Inside are the POP server settings. Here you must specify the POP server name, user name and password. Go ahead and enter pop3.impulse.net as the pop server, then enter your username and password respectively. If you wish to view your mail but leave it on the server to be retrieved from elsewhere as well, click leave messages on POP server. Click ok.

This should bring you back to the main menu where you should see your impulse POP mail waiting for you. In the future, if you wish to retrieve your POP mail all you need to do is click the POP mail button on the left tool bar.
