Windows 2000 Dial-up Configuration

Enter your Dial-up configuration setup by clicking. . .
Start | Settings |

Right click on the icon for your dial-up connection to Impulse then
select "Properties".

Enter the local dial-up number from our list, then
click "Configure."

Compare your settings to those below, change as required,
click "OK" when finished.

We recommend the following settings on your options tab,
but you may adjust them to fit your working style.
(Do no check "Include Windows logon domain")

Leave the default settings on the security tab.

Verify you have PPP selected on the networking
tab, then click "Settings."

Only check "Enable software compression"
then click "OK".

Highlight TCP/IP then click "Properties".

Match your settings to ours then click "Advanced."

Both boxes should be checked on the General tab.

Match your settings to ours on the "DNS" tab.

Leave the default setting on the "WINS" tab.

Highlight "IP Security" then click ""Properties."

Check "Do not use IPSEC" then click "OK" three times

Leave the default settings for the "Options" tab then
click "OK."

Close the Network and Dial-up Connections window.
