Network Settings

	Click Start \| Settings \| Control Panel. Double-click Cient for Microsoft Networks, Dial-UP adapater and TCP/IP should be installed. If they aren't, click Add, and follow the directions on the screen. Select TCP/IP and click Properties.

	Set IP Address to 'Obtain an IP address automatically'.

	Set Wins Configuration to 'Disable Wins Resolution'.

	Leave Gateway blank.

	Set Bindings to 'Client for Microsoft Networks'.

	Set Advanced to 'None'.

	Set DNS Configuration to 'Disable DNS'. Click OK.

	Click the Identification tab. Set Computer name to your user_name Set Workgroup to 'Workgroup'. Computer Description is optional. Click OK. Restart your computer if necessary.
