Dial-Up Networking Properties |
| Dial-Up Networking Properties are stored in the DUN icon (noid).
If you used the Internet Connection Wizard your DUN icon will already have been created. Double-click My Computer. Double-click Dial-Up Networking. Right-click the Impulse or Utech icon. Select Properties from the drop-down menu. |

| Make sure you have a local dial-up number entered.
Remove the check from 'Use country code and area code'. Click the Server Type tab or button. |

| Check only 'Enable software compression' and 'TCP/IP'.
Click TCP/IP Settings. |

| The deafault values below are correct.
Click OK 3 times, close the Dial-UP Networking and My Computer widows. |
