Modem Configuration |
Click Start | Settings | Control Panel.
Double-click  |
| Click Dialing Properties. | |

| Enter your area code and a dial-out prefix if necessary. Click OK. | |

| Click Properties.
Set Maximum Speed to 57600 or 115200. Click the Connection tab. |

| The defaults for Connection and Call preferences are OK.
Click Advanced. |

| Use settings as shown below.
Initialization strings can be entered in the Extra Settings field. A modem log may be kept for troubleshooting purposes. (C:\Windows\modemlog.txt) Click OK. |

| Click Port Settings. | |

| Defaults shown below are correct.
Click OK twice, then click Close. Close Control Panel. |
