Modem Diagnostics

Windows 95 makes it easy to see if your modem is correctly installed.
If your modem will not dial, make sure you can communicate with it.

Click Start | Settings | Control Panel. Double-click

	Click the Diagnostics tab.

	Click the port for your modem, then click More info.

	Windows 95 will send commands to your modem. If your modem is correctly installed you will see a response.

	If you receive no response from your modem, remove and reinstall it. Click the General tab. Click Remove, the click Click then Add.
