Willow Springs bandwidth issues

Connectivity to the Willow Springs apartments is degraded causing bandwidth issues, and techs will be actively working on this late night tonight. Downloads will be slow at times until the issue is fixed. Connectivity may be intermittent as well.

Internet Service Outage

Affects: Santa Barbara area Internet circuits.

At approximately 11:30AM we began to experience a service interruption on many of our Internet Circuits in the Santa Barbara area. Preliminary indications are that this is a carrier fiber outage. Our engineers are working on this and we will post updates to this website as they become available.

Verizon has replaced an OC12 card at the Central Office. Customers are slowly coming back online. If you are still experiencing issues with your phones, try rebooting them. If they don't come back up please call us at 805-456-5800. We appreciate your patience.

As of approximately 10:15AM the issue that was causing the call processing failures was repaired. If you continue to experience call processing issues with inbound/outbound calling, please contact Impulse Customer Support at the contact information above.

Scheduled Maintenance to router equipment

Affects: T1s connected to Los Angeles POP

Our Network Engineering will be performing a hardware upgrade to some of our networking equipment at our Los Angeles POP at 10PM tonight. This maintenance will interrupt internet service for T1 customers connected to that POP. The service interruption will last no more than 30 minutes beginning at 10PM.

DSL Outage in Goleta/Northern Santa Barbara

Impulse has verified that all fibers have been repaired and that a residual issue with a local ASAM has been resolved as well. As of 5:30 this morning all DSL service should have returned to the Goleta/Northern Santa Barbara region, if you are still experiencing issues with your DSL service please call in for technical support at (805)456-5800.

Impulse has encountered issues for DSL customers in the Goleta region and have been informed there is a cabinet issue that might indicate a fiber cut, Impulse currently has no ETR for this issue.
