  • SMTP Servers
Please use smtp.impulse.net. For those who use our national dial-up network, and for certain customers who do not attach directly to our network, we require the use of SMTP-Auth. This measure is necessary to protect our servers from being used by spammers. If you have a unique situation that requires special mail needs, including remote SMTP access, please contact us, and we will work together to find a solution.

  • POP3 Servers
Please use pop3.impulse.net. Your POP3 username is your Impulse assigned email address, and your password was provided to you when you signed up with us. If you cannot remember your password or username, please contact us.

  • USENET / Newsgroup Servers
    Please use news.impulse.net.

  • Personal Web Space
To upload your personal website, please use FTP to connect to members.impulse.net and use your username and password provided to you when you signed up (this is the same username and password as for your email POP3 address, except your username must only contain the actual username, not the entire email address). If you cannot get this to work for you, or you cannot remember your username or password, please contact us.
To view the website in a web browser, go to http://members.impulse.net/~yourusernamehere/ and replace 'yourusernamehere' with your username. (Note: the tilde (~) MUST be there.)

  • Dial-Up Phone Numbers
Because we are now offering nationwide dial-up access, we have created a separate section for dial-up numbers.
